I'm a Mainiac, Mainiac on the floor...

(The link above may take a second or two to fully load, but it's worth it!)

Thank you for that introduction, Tommy. Welcome to Jason and Jessie Do New England: Episode 3 -Fenway Park and points north.

We were lucky enough to be in town for the last Red Sox home game of the season. The game was against their rivals, the New York Yankees. We decided to take the subway down towards Fenway to get a photo at the park, unaware that it is nearly game time. The subway was packed, so we opted to walk. When we got there, the place was packed. Here's the scene...

So, we decide to hit up the souvenir booth (barely visible on the left side). They have all kinds of red sox clothes and miscellanea. And this is when I fear my wife is going to get us killed. She turns to me and says (out loud, mind you), "What's the Green Monster?" I scoff and we hurriedly leave the scene before we're found out.

The next day, we rented a car and headed north...destination Wells, Maine. Our first stop was at the Maine Diner, which you may recall from our Taste of New England blog. The lunch was fantastic and I spent most of our vacation money at the "Remember the Maine" gift shop. We then picked a road that hugged the coast and headed from lighthouse to lighthouse all the way to Portland. Here's the notables...

The coast of Maine was beautiful and Jessie and I decided we should probably live there. Maybe later. At any rate, we enjoyed the rocky coast and the crashing waves.

And for your closer, here we are at Cape Elizabeth...
