For those keeping track, I wanted to give an update on my best attempt at growing a beard on demand. The photo above showcases my beard as of 9pm Eastern Standard Time, November 6th, 2012.

Beard Diary,
Day 6: Today I got my first piece of food stuck in my new beard. We are making progress! My face remains cold in the mornings. How do people live like this?
Plans for Day 7 - play classical music for burgeoning beard to prompt growth.
