Team Moan - Carolina's recently had the opportunity to host Team Moan-Reese for Thankgiving 2009. As is customary for visitors who've never been east of the Mississippi (Devin), I took them to Wrightsville Beach to see how the East Coast pales in comparison to the coast of places such as Oregon.
On our way back to Clayton from the beach, we stopped by the biggest draw in all of eastern North Carolina...the World's Largest Frying Pan (WLFP). The WLFP resides in downtown Rose Hill, NC in the central coastal plain. I should note that this is not to be confused with the World's Largest Frying Pan or the World's Largest Frying Pan...oh and don't forget the World's Largest Frying Pan.
So there appears to be some confusion, but as any North Carolinian can tell you...the world really does end at the stateline.
